Grace Ministries for Christ – Reaching Hearts and Minds with the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Thank you for visiting the missions page of Grace Ministries for Christ (GMC) and for prayerfully considering how you might integrally become a part our work in proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ. GMC was—and remains—a non-profit, faith-based Christian Ministry Outreach devoted to reaching people right where they are with the love, truth, and hope found only in Christ.

We were blessed to share that our president and Senior Pastor of GMC, Rev. Dr. Yaron Kohen, safely returned to Montana after serving as a volunteer missionary pastor, Bible teacher, biblical counselor, and worship leader in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala from January to June 2025 (by God’s grace). While there, he taught as a Certified Eduacator in Bible at the Inter-American School (IAS)—an ACSI-accredited Christian school—and ministered in a culturally diverse community shaped by Catholic, Mayan, and Spanish influences.

The mission field proved rich with opportunities to preach and teach the Gospel, reach hearts with biblical truth, and disciple minds for Christ. Rev. Dr. Kohen’s calling remained clear: to meet people where they were—in classrooms, homes, and everyday life—proclaiming the redeeming message of Jesus and serving through the gifts God had entrusted to him.

Beloved friends in Christ,

By God’s grace, a door was opened for me to serve as a missionary pastor and Bible teacher in Guatemala. I did not go in my own strength, but in full surrender to His call—believing, as Job once declared, “No plan of God can be thwarted” (Job 42:2). I carried with me a heart of faith, decades of ministry experience, and a deep desire to teach God’s Word, offer biblical counsel, and lead others in authentic worship.

Yet this mission was never mine alone. As Paul reminded the Philippians in 4:14–17, the work of the Gospel depends on faithful ministry partners. And I was deeply blessed by the prayers, encouragement, and financial support of so many who stood with me. Your prayers upheld this mission spiritually. Your generous giving made it possible to provide housing, food, transportation, medical care, classroom supplies, worship materials (including an acoustic guitar), and the daily necessities of life while serving Christ in community.

From the depths of my heart, thank you for making this mission possible. Because of your faithfulness, the Gospel was taught, lives were touched, and the name of Jesus was lifted high in Guatemala.
