Grace Ministries for Christ – Reaching Hearts and Minds with the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Thank you for visiting the missions page of Grace Ministries for Christ (GMC) and prayerfully considering how you might support our work in proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ. GMC is a non-profit, faith-based Christian Ministry Outreach dedicated to reaching people right where they are—with the love, truth, and hope found only in Christ.

We are excited to share that Rev. Dr. Yaron Kohen, president and Senior Pastor of GMC, has been sent out as a volunteer missionary pastor, Bible teacher, biblical counselor, and worship leader to serve in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala from January to mid-June 2025 (Lord willing). There, he will teach Bible at the Inter-American School (IAS)—an ACSI-accredited Christian school—and minister in a diverse community where Catholic, Mayan, and Spanish traditions deeply shape daily life.

This mission field is rich with opportunity to preach and teach the Gospel, reach hearts with biblical truth, and disciple minds for Christ. Dr. Kohen’s call is to meet people right where they are—in classrooms, homes, and communities—proclaiming the redeeming message of Jesus, and ministering through the gifts God has given him.

Beloved friends in Christ,

God has opened a door for me to serve Him in Guatemala as a missionary pastor and teacher. I go not in my own strength, but in full surrender to His call, believing—like Job declared, “No plan of God can be thwarted” (Job 42:2). I carry with me a heart full of faith, years of ministry, and a desire to teach God’s Word and shepherd others through biblical truths, counseling and authentic worship.

But I cannot do this alone. As Paul wrote in Philippians 4:14–17, ministry partners are vital to the work of the Gospel. I am humbly asking for your partnership through prayer and financial support. Your prayers will uplift and sustain this mission spiritually. Your generous giving will make it possible to cover housing, food, transportation, medical care, teaching supplies, worship materials (such as an acoustic guitar), and the day-to-day expenses of living in community for Christ during my time on the field.
