Created by Rev. Dr. Kohen, Proactive Pastoral Counseling (PPC) is an innovative Christian Integrative Therapeutic (CIT) approach aimed at helping Christians manage intrapersonal (mental) conflict by making the shift from secular to biblical thinking. PPC utilizes the Christian Intrapersonal Formation (CIF) training program, a four-step method that inspires Christians to reshape their personal stories and difficulties according to the Christian worldview and the grace of Jesus Christ.

Christ-Centered Living in a World That Rejects Him

How does a follower of Jesus walk faithfully in a world that so often turns its back on Him? This is a question every Christian must face. Yet take heart—because even in the midst of a fallen world, we are not alone. Christ has not only overcome the world (John 16:33), but He walks with us, encourages us, and empowers us to live for Him daily.

Many sincere believers long to grow in Christlikeness, yet feel discouraged by the brokenness around them. But the good news is this: we are not called to walk by sight, but by faith. In Christ, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37), and with the help of the Holy Spirit, you can stand firm against the tide of darkness and live a victorious life rooted in God's truth.

You may have heard it said, “Evil thrives when Christians stand by and do nothing.” But what if we reframed that: God’s light shines brightest when Christians live boldly for Christ. The time is now to take back our thought life, surrender our minds to the renewing power of God’s Word, and walk confidently in the identity Christ has given us. Transformation isn’t only possible—it’s promised to those who yield to Him (Romans 12:2).

So ask yourself: Are you allowing God’s Word to shape your daily walk? Is your mind being renewed by truth or distracted by the noise of the world? Remember, the greatest battle is not just what we see around us, but what is happening inside of us. Yet even this battle belongs to the Lord, and He has equipped us for victory. “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood…” (Ephesians 6:12), but by the Spirit, we overcome.

Victory begins with surrender—trusting not in ourselves but in the Lord. Proverbs 3:5–7 exhorts us to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart... in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” True peace and purpose begin when we stop leaning on our own understanding and start walking by faith in the One who holds all things together.

The Christian Intrapersonal Formation (CIF) training program and Proactive Pastoral Counseling (PPC) are resources designed to help you grow deeper in your relationship with Christ and win the inner battles we all face. These tools are not about self-help—they are about Christ-help. They are built on Scripture, grounded in grace, and centered on the power of God’s transforming love.

Rise now with confidence, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Be encouraged, dear Christian. You are not alone, and you are not without help. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly. Let the Spirit lead you step by step. Let the CIF program be a practical companion to guide you on your journey. Let today be the day you say, “Enough. Christ, have Your way in me.”

For in Him, we are renewed.
In Him, we are victorious.
In Him, we are transformed.
